A career in nursing has always been of interest to me. After I receive my high school diploma, I plan on pursing a degree in the medical field with the specific goal of becoming a Registered Nurse. Nurses provides care and assistance to those who are ill, injured, or otherwise in need of medical attention.

I have always been interested in the medical field and I enjoy helping others, so becoming a nurse seemed like the perfect career choice for me.

I am currently taking the necessary courses to obtain my high school diploma and once I receive it, I will enroll in a Nursing program at a local college. I am confident that I have what it takes to become a successful nurse and I am looking forward to beginning my career in this field.

After completing my Nursing program, I plan on working at a hospital or other medical facility. I hope to one day work as a nurse in an operating room, but regardless of where I end up working, I know that I will make a difference in the lives of my patients.

Nurses also work in healthy insurance firms, research institutions, and pharmaceutical (medicinal drug) businesses. “Nurses keep track of patients’ medical histories and drugs, operate medical equipment and assist with follow-up care and rehabilitation (World Book Student),” according to Segovia Bain.

Nurses work in a variety of settings such as hospitals, clinics, schools and community health centers (Nursing World). They may also travel to patients’ homes to provide care or visit nursing homes and assisted living facilities. Nursing is a broad field that offers opportunities for nurses to specialize in areas such as pediatrics, geriatrics, oncology, critical care, cardiac care, etc.

After high school, there are many different paths that you can take to become a nurse. You can go to college and get a degree in nursing, or you can go to nursing school. You can also become a registered nurse by passing the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN). Once you have your license, you can work in a variety of settings, such as hospitals, clinics, or home health care. I’m interested in this career path because of the educational training requirements, working conditions, salary potential, and future employment prospects. Nursing began as a male practice. The first nursing school was founded in India approximately 250 B.C., but it wasn’t until the 1800s that nursing education became increasingly developed at hospitals rather than colleges. Nowadays, most students clean dust and do dishes for their classmates.

Nursing wasn’t seen as a profession for many years. In the 19th century, women who are mainly taking care of patients and providing them with emotional support. The first Nursing school in America was established in 1873 by Florence Nightingale. It wasn’t until after WWII that Nursing become an accepted profession for women. After the war, there was a need for more health care providers and Nursing became a more attractive career choice for women.

Today, Nursing is one of the most popular career choices for women. According to the U.S. Department of Labor, “Employment of registered nurses is expected to grow much faster than the average for all occupations through 2022.” The Bureau of Labor Statistics projects that there will be over 1.2 million new Nursing jobs created in the next 10 years.

There are many reasons why Nursing is a popular career choice, but some of the most common reasons include:

-The need for healthcare services is expected to grow as the population ages.

-There is a growing number of people with chronic conditions, such as diabetes and obesity.

– Advances in medical technology have led to more complex procedures that require the skills of a registered nurse.

If you’re interested in a career in Nursing, there are a few things you need to do to get started. First, you’ll need to complete an accredited Nursing program. There are many different types of Nursing programs, so you’ll need to choose the one that’s right for you.

Once you’ve completed a Nursing program, you’ll need to take and pass the NCLEX-RN exam. This exam is used to ensure that you have the knowledge and skills necessary to be a safe and effective nurse.

After you’ve passed the NCLEX-RN exam, you’ll need to obtain a license from your state’s Board of Nursing. Once you have your license, you’ll be able to find employment as a registered nurse.

Nurses worked long shifts of 10 to 12 hours. In addition to regular responsibilities like cleaning rooms and sterilizing equipment, they also had to deal with things like needles. When World War II started, nurses were removed from the hospitals and placed directly by the bedside of wounded soldiers. This created a need for travel-nursing agencies in the 1980s which led to numerous job openings.

Nursing informatics is a subspecialty that has only recently emerged as its own Nursing field. Nursing informatics combines Nursing, computer science, and information technology into the practice of Nursing. The goal of Nursing informatics is to use technology to improve patient care, safety, and outcomes. Nursing Informatics specialists work in a variety of settings, including hospitals, clinics, government agencies, insurance companies, and pharmaceutical companies.

I have always been interested in the medical field and helping others. After doing some research, I have decided that I would like to pursue a career in nursing. I think that nursing is a very rewarding profession and I am excited to help people in their time of need. After high school, I plan on attending college to get my degree in nursing.
